Plot overview: Nick Fury forms the Avengers – a group of superheroes to help save the world from Loki and his army. The Avengers consist of Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Black Widow, Hawkeye, and Hulk.
Opinion: I like everything about the film, except some effects that are obvious in the eyes. The entire direction, the actors, the storyline are just perfect, too perfect!
The hulk technology is not that realistic, and most of the universe image, not too awesome, but overall I really love it.
There are parts where you laugh, there are parts that you are hooked and so focused on the film. But the best part is the gags that are not too funny, but their serious faces make it funny.
I don’t see favoritism in the superheroes, and even to the actors. I love the way you get hooked while watching the film. I even want to watch it all over again.
Robert Downey, Jr. as Iron Man – He did great, he always does, just like the original films of Iron Man, he portrays the guy Stark perfectly, a super rich playboy. I love the way he talks like too smart languages and a bit annoying sentences. I also like the way he quarrels with Captain America.
Chris Evans as Captain America – He looks great, the perfect face for an American and he stands like a real captain. His character makes him so cute and handsome for me. He acts like a real leader, and is very manly just like other superheroes.
Mark Ruffalo as Hulk – Although he did not play the role from the original Hulk major films, he did superb in this film – The Avengers. He sounded so chill, with a low voice. He is a very serious and kind man when he talks; you’ll never realize that he is the super incredible Hulk.
Chris Hemsworth as Thor – The crown prince of Asgard. I really like this guy. Just like other actors, he is perfectly fit for the role. Physically, he did great in his diet. And his voice is just like a real super human. He has a low and huge voice like a god. He acts like he is really Thor, it’s just perfect combination.
Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow – aside from being so sexy, she looks and acts like the real black widow from the cartoons and comics I’ve watched and read about. She never showed lowness as the only female in the team, she did really great as a warrior and at the same time she is so sexy.
Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye – Well, honestly, I really like this man. He made a role that is worth remembering. He made the kids remember him, as a legendary superhero. The best part of his role is his super shooter/archery skills, even not looking at where to aim.
Tom Hiddleston as Loki – The cutest Villain ever. He made his role unforgettable, and honestly a role that can never be angered for. His enemy character is cute as a little brother issue.
Clark Gregg as Phil Coulson – A very unique character. He portrays it in a special and wonderful way. Phil Coulson role is so unforgettable for me. Maybe because he is a Captain America Fan. I don’t know, his role is not that huge, but he did something that makes me remember him as a part of the movie. He is funny too, but not obvious.
Cobie Smulders as Maria Hill – I don’t quiet like the role, it’s a small role, but Cobie performs it well. She was some sort of a right hand of Nick Fury, and co worker of Phil Coulson. She looks too serious in the job as an agent with S.H.I.E.L.D.
Stellan Skarsgard as Erik Selvig – He was the one who’s been studying the Tesseract’s power. And he is also a friend of Thor. Remember the Thor’s first film? Selvig was there. His character is important, but he said it’s not that big.
Samuel Jackson as Nick Fury – It’s the role that can always be remembered. Because of course, he was there most of the time. He was with the first Marvel films. He did great I think, I can always remember him. You’ll really notice him, and his role is very important and unforgettable because he started the avengers.
Set design and costume: Okay this is the best part I think. Their costumes are superb, I can’t describe it properly, but they look so awesome and realistic. In one interview, they even said that their costumes are so hot, only Hulk doesn’t have that issue. The designs are really great; it’s not a low budget film when you look at it.
Story Line: Perfect, just perfect! I like the way Joss Whedon arranged all their roles, their scripts that nobody will ever be favored. From the first scenes, to the end, he made the direction complete and just enough for the audiences. It’s a kid’s film, and kids love happy ending. It’s a movie that shows complete ending. I even loved the part where the avengers ate at Shawarma, they really look funny. Poor Loki. Check this out the last part on Blue ray copies.
There are also great parts where I really felt the heroic moments, the moment where they all gathered on the city together, then the camera focused the group together fighting. It’s so marvelous!
Cinematography and lighting: Lighting is perfect. Important moments are unforgettable.
Music: I think the music made the film so fantastic as well. I really felt the moment, every important scene felt really great and heroic.
Stars and ratings:
My little brother, 9 years old enjoyed it. Maybe you just need to be there to educate him. No nudity, just kissing scene for Gwyneth Paltrow as Miss Potts, and Iron Man in the last part of the movie. No bed scene, violence is just enough to show that the movie is about heroes saving the world. Spoken words, I think are not that bad. So I totally recommend this for Christians, or even for kids, just guidance from parents will do.
Trivia: Something to look forward to, The Avengers II 2015. They said Loki and Black Widow, and hawkeye already signed the contract. Thor, captain america, and iron man haven’t signed yet because they all have sequels for their own major movies.
