As I sit down to reflect on the whirlwind of the past semester, it’s hard to believe how far we’ve come. Teaching animation to a diverse group of 140 students across three classes has been a journey filled with challenges, laughter, and moments of sheer brilliance.

From the very beginning, I knew I wanted to embark on a project that would push my students to their limits. Little did I know that the music video project would become the centerpiece of our semester of animation, testing not only their technical abilities but also their artistic vision and collaborative skills.
I would also like to commend our champion students and those who received certificates for their exceptional work. Their hard work and dedication, along with their genuine love for learning, have truly shone through. I am excited to see their journey in animation continue, as they have not only honed their animation skills but also developed leadership and collaboration abilities. They are truly remarkable students, and I am proud of their achievements.

Of course, it wasn’t all smooth sailing. There were days when it felt like I was herding cats, trying to corral everyone’s attention and enthusiasm. And let’s not forget the occasional bout of naughtiness, the students who preferred to skip class, and the never-ending complaints about deadlines and workload.
But amidst the chaos, there were moments of pure magic. Watching my students come together to brainstorm ideas, overcome technical challenges, and bring their visions to life was nothing short of inspiring. It was in these moments that I truly saw the potential and creativity that each and every one of them possessed.

As the semester of animation progressed, so did our project. From the conceptualization phase to the late-night editing sessions, we poured our hearts and souls into every frame of the music videos. And when the time came for the live screening, the energy and excitement in the auditorium were palpable.
Sure, there were a few technical glitches along the way, but they were overshadowed by the overwhelming sense of pride and accomplishment that filled the room. Seeing the final products projected on the big screen was a moment I’ll never forget – a testament to the hard work, dedication, and creativity of each and every student involved.
I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to my fellow teachers who graciously agreed to judge the students’ work during the event. I am also deeply grateful to the students who took on various roles, eagerly learning and understanding the intricacies of event organizing. To the students who embraced this new experience and accepted the challenge with enthusiasm, exploring animation with excitement and dedication, I am incredibly proud and grateful.
